HYDERABAD: BJP state vice president NVSS Prabhakar demanded a judicial inquiry into the allegations of phone tapping in the state.
He stated that governor Tamilisai Soundararajan has expressed doubt about her phone being tapped. In private, TRS ministers and leaders also say that their phones are tapped. This cannot be possible without the consent of the political bosses.
Even top officials are afraid and opposition parties are saying that their phones are tapped, he said "I am appealing to the intelligentsia in the state to consider this as more serious than poachgate case."
Upon being asked about the outcome of SIT investigations in the past in various cases, he said, "To keep those indulging in scams under their control the government is launching SIT investigations'
He also asked chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao to first give answers on why Nizam Sugar and Azam Jahi Mills have not been opened before questioning PM Narendra Modi.
He also said that it is unfortunate that TRS is trying to obstruct the visit of PM Modi to Telangana on November 12. Trying to protest his visit is nothing but stalling development, he added.
